Ioannes 519 is included among the confessors and archbishops acclaimed for their support of icons in the Synodikon of Orthodoxy: Gouillard, "Synodikon", p. 53, line 125. He is presumably to be identified with either Ioannes 439 or Ioannes 461 (metropolitan bishops of Chalcedon and Sardis respectively).
