Ioannes 506 was apo eparchon; owner of a seal dateable to the early eighth century: Laurent, Orghidan 631. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει. Rev.: cruciform monogram probably reading Ἰωάννου ἀπὸ ἐπάρχων (see Laurent, Orghidan, plate LXVII, which does not show the Τ to which Laurent refers in the text).
