Ioannes 492 was basilikos strator; owner of a seal dateable to the eighth or ninth century: Laurent, Orghidan 37. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει with τω - ς. - δου - λ. in the corners. Rev.: Ιω - αννω - .' στρα - τορη. The name and title read: Ἰωάννῃ βασιλικῷ στράτορι.
