Ioannes 433 was basilikos spatharios and komes of the korte of Chaldia; owner of a seal dateable to the late ninth century: Zacos and Veglery 1521. The name and titles read: Ἰωάννῃ βασιλικῷ σπαθαρίῳ καὶ κόμιτι τῆς κόρτης Χαλδίας. Cf. Theophylaktos 49.
