Ioannes 415 was basilikos protospatharios and anthypatos of the Anatolikoi; owner of a seal dateable to the ninth century: Zacos and Veglery 2049. The name and titles read: Ἰωάννῃ βασιλικῷ πρωτοσπαθαρίῳ καὶ ἀνθυπάτῳ τῶν Ἀνατολικῶν (or possibly τοῦ Ἀνατολικοῦ). Cf. Winkelmann, Rangstruktur, p. 121.
