Ioannes 411 was a patrikios, anthypatos and magistros; owner of a seal dateable to the first half of the ninth century: Zacos and Veglery 2038a. The name and titles read: Ἰωάννῃ πατρικίῳ, ἀνθυπάτῳ καὶ μαγίστρῳ. Magistros was probably here a post, not a dignity; cf. Zacos and Veglery, note ad loc. and Winkelmann, Rangstruktur, pp. 31, 36, 130.
