Ioannes 377 was a patrikios and komes of the theophylakton basilikon Opsikion; owner of a seal dateable to the first half of the eighth century: Zacos and Veglery 2039. The name and titles read: Ἰωάννῃ πατρικίῳ καὶ κόμητι τοῦ θεοφυλάκτου βασιλικοῦ Ὀψικίου. The reading of the name is not certain; according to Zacos and Veglery, it could also be read as Gregorios.
