Ioannes 182 was metropolitan bishop of Gangra; owner of a seal dateable to the eighth century: Laurent, Corpus V 1, no. 439. Obv.: invocative monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει, with the legend Ἰωάννῃ μητρ[οπολίτῃ Γ]άγγρων. Rev.: image of a saint, possibly St John the Baptist or St Hypatios (so Laurent, op. cit., p. 319, note).
