Hilarion 9 was hegoumenos of the monastery of Pelekete, between the mid eighth and the early ninth century; he was a supporter of the veneration of icons and is celebrated in the Canon of Joseph the Hymnographer (Ioseph 12) (where he is called Hilarion the Younger, ὁ νέος); miracles are said to have occurred at his tomb: Synax.
