Guntrut 1 was a Bavarian, daughter of Theutpert 1 (dux of the Bavarians); Guntrut 1 married the Lombard king Liutprand 1 and bore him only one child, a daughter (Anonyma 50); they had met apparently while Liutprand 1 was living in exile among the Bavarians with his father Ansprand 1 (c. 702-712): Paul. Diac., Hist. Lang. VI 43.
