Gregorios 179 was a kommerkiarios; owner of a seal of uncertain date, probably seventh, eighth or ninth century: Borsari, p. 158, no. 27. The name and title read: Γρηγορίῳ κωμερκιαρίῳ. He perhaps held office in Sicily, where the seal was found.
