Gregorios 96 was a notarios and epi tou sekretou; owner of a seal dateable to the second half of the ninth century: Zacos, Seals II 159. Obv.: cross potent, with slanting cross strokes at the intersection; circular inscription of +Κ(ύρι)ε βοήθει τῷ σῷ δο[ύλῳ]. Rev.: +Γρη.. - ρι' νοταρ' - (καὶ) επι του - σεκρετ. The name and titles read: Γρη[γο]ρί(ῳ) νοταρ(ίῳ) καὶ ἐπὶ τοῦ σεκρέτ(ου).
