Gregorios 11 was logothetes of the dromos in late 780 (Γρηγόριος, ὁ λογοθέτης τοῦ δρόμου); Gregorios 11 was one of the leaders of a conspiracy formed in October 780 against the new emperor Constantine VI (Konstantinos 8) and his mother Eirene 1, which aimed to put Nikephoros 5 on the throne; he was arrested with other leaders (Bardas 2, Konstantinos 12 and Theophylaktos 7, and many others (πολλοὶ ἕτεροι) and they were beaten and tonsured and exiled to various places: Theoph.
