An epoptes, Georgios 211 was the owner of a seal dateable to the ninth century: Zacos and Veglery 1920. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει, with τω - σω - δου - λω in the corners. Rev.: +Γεωρ - γιω επο - πτη. The name and title read: Γεωργίῳ ἐπόπτῃ. Cf. Georgios 219.
