Georgios 25 was bishop of Krateia in Honorias; in 681 he attended the Third Council of Constantinople (the Sixth Ecumenical Council) and was present at the last eight sessions (sessions eleven to eighteen, from March 20 to September 16): Riedinger, pp. 406-827 (= Mansi XI 460-677). In the subscriptions to the statement of the faith, which condemned monotheletism, he is styled Γεώργιος ἐλέει Θεοῦ ἐπίσκοπος Κρατίας Ὁνωριάδος: Riedinger, p. 792, line 19 (= Mansi XI 652). In the subscriptions to the Council he is styled Γεώργιος ἐλέει Θεοῦ ἐπίσκοπος πόλεως Κρατίας: Riedinger, p. 827, line 13 (= Mansi XI 677).
