Eustathios 58 was a monk who became archbishop of Kios in Bithynia; an iconophile, he suffered persecution and beatings under an iconoclast emperor, probably between 815 and 842, and was exiled from his see, dying after some years still in exile: Synax. Eccl. Const. 567/568, 37ff.; 569/570, 30-37; 572, 16ff.; 573/574, 30; Menol. Bas. 376D. He was commemorated on 28 March, 29 March and 30 March.
