Euphemios 8 was basilikos spatharios and monodioiketes; owner of a seal dateable to the early or mid ninth century: SBS 3, p. 206 (= Sternberg, Sale XXVI, 16 November 1992, no. 505). Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει. Rev.: +Εὐφημίῳ βασιλικῷ σπαθαρίῳ καὶ μονοδιοικητῇ.
