Euphemia 4 was the wife of Sergios 100; she and her husband were both of noble family; they were the parents of Platon 1: Theod. Stud., Laudatio Platonis 805A (πατέρες μὲν τῷ μακαρίῳ Πλάτωνι, Σέργιος καὶ Εὐφημία, ὧν τὸ εὐγενὲς ἐπίσημον). They also had two daughters (Theoktiste 3 and Anna 13): Theod. Stud., Laudatio Platonis 805B. She and her husband died during a plague in Constantinople in the reign of the emperor Constantine V (Konstantinos 7): Theod. Stud., Laudatio Platonis 805BD. This was probably the plague of 747/748; cf. Theoph. AM 6238. They also had three other sons, whose names are unknown; see Anonymi 31.
