Epiphanios 57 was a renegade Stoudite monk, who deserted together with Eustathios 51 some time in the early ninth century; he and Eustathios are recorded in sermons of Theodoros 15 (Theodore the Stoudite): Theod. Stud., Catech. Magna II 8 (p. 54 Papadopoulos-Kerameus), cf. I 111 (p. 149ff. Cozza-Luzi in Nova Patrum Bibliotheca 10.1) (unnamed).
