Ephraim 3 was a monk in the monastery of Tripyliana, he is recorded in a sermon of Theodoros 15 (Theodore the Stoudite): Theod. Stud., Catech. Magna 59 (p. 417 Papadopoulos-Kerameus). Possibly identical with Ephraim 2; see Fatouros, p. 209*, n. 225.
