Domitios 12 was hypatos and kuaistor; owner of a seal dateable to the eighth century: Zacos and Veglery 1856 = Laurent, Corpus II, no. 1095. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει, with τω - δου - λω - σου in the corners. Rev.: Δομε - τιω υπα - τω και κοιαι - στωρι. The name and titles read: Δομετίῳ ὑπάτῳ καὶ κοιαίστορι. Possibly identical with Domitios 11, according to Zacos and Veglery. Laurent suggested identifying him with the xenodochos Domitios 13; cf. A.M. Schneider, "Die Pyle tou Kalagrou der Landmauer von Konstantinopel", BZ 38 (1938), p. 408.
