Domitios 8 was hypatos and basilikos spatharokandidatos; owner of a seal dateable to the first half of the eighth century: Zacos and Veglery 1857. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει, with Δο - με - τι - ω in the corners. Rev.: +υπα - τω και βας - ιλικω σπα - θαροκαν - διδατ'+. The name and titles read: Δομετίῳ ὑπάτῳ καὶ βασιλικῷ σπαθαροκανδιδάτῳ.
