A monk, Dionysios 5 was the addressee of a letter from Theodoros 15 (Theodore the Stoudite), written between May and November 826; Dionysios had written to Theodoros 15 about a penance imposed on him by Antonios 34, the archbishop of Dyrrhachion, which he felt to be inadequate, and so he asked Theodoros 15 to impose a further penance; Theodoros 15 replied that the penance imposed by Antonios 34 was sufficient; Dionysios 5 is styled ἡ ἀδελφικὴ ὑμῶν τιμιότης; the letter ends with a greeting by Theodoros 15 to the monks (εἰρήνη ὑμῖν, ἀδελφοὶ ἐν Κυρίῳ), presumably, of the monastery where Dionysios lived: Theod. Stud., Ep. 543 (addressed Διονυσίῳ μονάζοντι).
