Demetrios 29 was basilikos spatharios and epi ton deeseon; owner of a seal dateable to the first half of the ninth century: Speck, Bleisiegel 59. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει with τω - σω - δου - λω in the corners. Rev.: .ημ. - .ρι. β σπα - επι των - .εησε. The name and titles perhaps read: Δημητρίῳ βασιλικῷ σπαθαρίῳ καὶ ἐπὶ τῶν δεήσεων. The restoration of the name as Demetrios is not certain.
