Demetrios 8 was the owner of a seal dateable to the seventh century: Tsougarakis, "Sceaux", p. 731, no. 2 = Tsougarakis, SBS 2, p. 150, no. 46. Obv.: bust of the Virgin with Christ. Rev.: monogram of Δημητρίου. The seal was found in Crete.
