David 16 was hypatos; owner of a seal possibly dateable to the eighth century: Konstantopoulos, JIAN 9, 562b. The text reads: Δα[ὶ]δ ὑπάτου. The seal apparently resembles those belonging to David 15 and may belong to him; see Zacos and Veglery, Seals, note on 1849.
