Daniel 17 was a priest living in the neighbourhood of Pariani; owner of a vineyard, in which he once discovered bunches of grapes growing in midwinter, thanks to a miracle by Hilarion 1: Sabas, Vita Hilarionis Dalmat., 21, col. 35.
