Basilios 121 was a praktor (a collector of taxes); addressee of a letter from the patriarch Photius (Photios 1), probably written between 859 and 867; Basilios 121 is accused of bringing a pyre of evils (κακῶν πυρὰν) on his homeland (πατρίς): Photius, Ep. 83 (I 123 Laourdas-Westerink) (addressed Βασιλείῳ πράκτορι).
