Basilios 62 was a hypatos; owner of two identical seals dateable to the first half of the eighth century: Zacos and Veglery 1768a and 1768b. The name and title read: Βασιλείῳ ὑπάτῳ. A third, similar, seal, possibly owned by the same person, is published by Konstantopoulos, JIAN 7, 561 (dated by Konstantopoulos to the eighth or ninth century; the name and title read: Β[α]σ[ι]λίῳ ὑπάτῳ). For another similar seal, noted by Zacos and Veglery, see also Panchenko, Katalog, no. 7.
