Basilios 43 was a basilikos protospatharios and topoteretes; owner of a seal dateable perhaps to the ninth or tenth century: Ebersolt, "Sceaux byzantins", p. 406, no. 554. Obv.: bust of the archangel Michael. Rev.: Βας... β(ασιλικῷ) (πρωτο)σπαθ(αρίῳ) (καὶ) τοποτιριτ(ῇ).
