Basilios 6 was bishop of Akmoneia in Phrygia Pacatiana; in 692 he attended the Quinisext Council in Constantinople and signed the canons: Ohme, Bischofsliste, p. 164, no. 175 (= Mansi XI 1001) (Βασίλειος ἐπίσκοπος Ἀκμονίας Πακατιανῆς). The manuscripts read: Ἀκολωνείας or similar; for the emendation to Akmoneia, see Ramsay, Cities and Bishoprics of Phrygia, p. 234.
