Bardas 20 was a patrikios and strategos; owner of a seal dateable to the eighth century: Zacos and Veglery 1752A. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει, with τω - δου - λω - σου in the corners. Rev.: +Β[α] - ρδα πα - τρικιω - και στρατ - ηγω+. The name and titles read: Βάρδᾳ πατρικίῳ καὶ στρατηγῷ.
