Baanes 11 was a patrikios and komes; owner of two seals dateable to the eighth century: Zacos and Veglery 2567a and 2567b. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει, with Βα - α - νο - υς in the corners. Rev.: +πατ - ρικιου - και κομ - ιτος[+]. The name and titles read: Βαάνους πατρικίου καὶ κόμιτος. The two seals are from different boulloteria, since the upsilons on the obverse are not the same shape.
