Aufusus 1 was the nephew of the Lombard king Liutprand 1, he was the son of the king's sister (Aurona 1); Aufusus 1 was accidentally killed while on a hunting expedition with his uncle Liutprand 1 in the wood called Urbs (near Ticinum) (see Anonymus 318 and Anonymus 319): Paul.
