Athanasios 15 was an exarch; owner of a seal dateable to the second half of the ninth century: Zacos and Veglery 1747. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει, with τω - σω - δου - λω in the corners. Rev.: Αθαν - .σιω εξ - αρχω. The name and title read: Ἀθανασίῳ ἐξάρχῳ.
