Arsaphios 2 was a basilikos protospatharios; owner of two identical seals dateable to the ninth century: Zacos and Veglery 1730a and 1730b. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει, with τω - σω - δου - λω in the corners. Rev.: +Αρσα - φιω β' α' σπ. - θαριω. The name and title read: Ἀρσαφίῳ βασιλικῷ πρωτοσπαθαρίῳ.
