Arsaber 12 was a basilikos spatharios; owner of a seal dateable to the second half of the eighth century: Zacos and Veglery 1739A. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει with .. - ς. - δου - λω in the corners. Rev.: Αρσα - βηρ β' ς - παθ'. The name and title read: Ἀρσαβὶρ βασιλικῷ σπαθαρίῳ. Arsaber 12's name suggests that he was of Armenian descent.
