Antiochos 8 was patrikios and dioiketes; owner of four seals dateable to the first half of the eighth century: Zacos and Veglery 749a (obv.: Κυριε - ο Θεος - βοηθη; rev.: Αντι - οχω πατρ - ικιω και δι. - ικητη), 749b (obv.: as 749a; rev.: .ντιο - .ω πατρι - κιω και διο - .κητη), 1724 (obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει, with .ω - δου - λω - σου in the corners; Rev.: Αντιο - χω πατρ. - κιω και δη - οικιτ), Borsari, no. 19 (obv.: Κυριε - ο Θεος - βοηθη; rev.: Ανι.. - τω πατ - ρικιω κα - ι διοικ - .τη (sic; note the letters of the name as recorded by Borsari).
