Anonymus 743 was one of the compatriots of the monk Antonios 12 (and therefore presumably a native of Palestine); in c. 855 he was apparently living in Constantinople, when one of his servants, Anonymus 742, received help from Antonios: Vita Anton. Iun. (BHG 142 Addit.) 8-9.
