Anonymus 695 was the archimandrite of Gotthia; he was the addressee of a letter from Theodoros 15 (Theodore the Stoudite) written between 821 and 826; Anonymus 695 was involved in a dispute with the bishop Philaretos 10, and Theodoros 15 wrote to them both (the letter to Philaretos 10 does not survive) to resolve their differences; the letter also contains advice on the life of a monk: Theod. Stud., Ep. 486 (addressed Ἀρχιμανδρίτῃ Γοτθίας).
