Anonymus 685 was a patrikios and genikos logothetes; owner of a seal dateable to the eighth or ninth century: Laurent, Orghidan 168. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει with τω - .. - δου - λ. in the corners. Rev.: λ..ο - .ατρικ - ..ενικ - ..γοθ - ε.ου. The name and titles perhaps read: Βασιλείου πατρικίου καὶ γενικοῦ λογοθέτου. The restoration of the name (proposed by Laurent) is uncertain.
