Anonymus 570 was the husband of Machara 1, who is mentioned in a letter addressed to his wife by Theodoros 15 (Theodore the Stoudite): Theod. Stud., Ep. 553, pp. 846-847. The letter was written between 809 and 811. Since Machara 1 was a spatharia, her husband was a spatharios.
