Anonymus 492 was a spatharios and chartoularios of the basilikon vestiarion; owner of a seal dateable between the mid-eighth century and the mid-ninth; his name is mostly missing but ended with the letters τος: Zacos and Veglery 2640. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει, with τω - ς. - δου - λω in the corners. Rev.: ..... - .τω.σπα - και χαρτ' του - β' βεστ'. The name and titles read: ...τῳ σπαθαρίῳ καὶ χαρτουλαρίῳ τοῦ βασιλικοῦ βεστιαρίου. His first title may possibly have been βασιλικῷ σπαθαρίῳ (the missing letter between τω and σπα was probably a β').
