Anonymus 485 was a patrikios and strategos of the Thrakesioi; owner of a seal dateable to the eighth century (DOSeals) or between the mid eighth century and the mid ninth (Zacos and Veglery); his name is mostly lost, but perhaps ended in the dative with the letters ᾳ (?Thomas or Andreas): DOSeals III 2. 56 = Zacos and Veglery 2616. Obv.: cruciform monogram of κύριε βοήθει, with .ω - ς. - δου - λω in the corners. Rev.: ... - α πατρι - . και στρατ - ηγω των - ρακησι - ων. The titles read: ...ᾳ πατρικίῳ καὶ στρατηγῷ τῶν Θρᾳκησίων.
