Anonymus 417 was possibly a bishop; owner of a seal dateable to the seventh or eighth century: Speck, Bleisiegel 58. Obv.: remains of cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει and of τω - σω - δου - λω. Rev.: .α.. - .μ... - κ'κων. - .ισκ. - .ω. The interpretation of these letters is not clear. The last word may have been ἐπισκόπῳ.
