Anonymus 317 was the strator of the Lombard king Cunincpert 1; the post was in the Lombard tongue called "Marpahis"; the king plotted with him the deaths of Aldo 1 and Grauso 1 and accused him of betraying the plot when they learnt of it; Anonymus 317 protested his innocence, as he had not left the king's presence, and the event was found to be miraculous: Paul.
