Anonymus 220 was the husband of Sergia 1; he was a synkletikos (γυνὴ δέ τις Σέργια ὀνόματι, ἧς ὁ ἀνὴρ εἰς συγκλητικοὺς ἐτελεῖ); when his wife Sergia 1, dangerously ill, summoned St Evarestos (Evarestos 1) to her, he begged the holy man to pray for her survival, that he might not be left a widower; Evarestos 1 advised him to accept the will of God, but prayed for her and she unexpectedly recovered; out of gratitude the husband had the oratory of the monastery of Kokkorobion (where Evarestos 1 was hegoumenos) decorated with holy icons and further, after the saint's death, was the first to set up an icon with the image of the saint: Vita S. Evaristi 32 (pp. 316-317). Evarestos 1 died in 897.
