Anonymus 145 was protomandator of Dalmatia; owner of a seal dateable to the mid ninth century: Schlumberger, Sig., p. 206, no. 2 (facsimile). Obv.: cruciform monogram of Κύριε βοήθει with τω - σω - δου - λω in the corners. Rev.: ... - ..μω α' .. - νδατωρ - . .αλμα - .ιας. The name and titles read: .....μῳ πρωτομανδάτωρι τῆς Δαλματίας. The first line of the facsimile contains traces of letters, possibly iota or rho or tau and omicron, sigma or omega. The discovery of a parallel specimen could solve the reading of the name, which ended in μος. One possibility is Hieronymos.
