Anonymus 83 was eparch of Thessalonike; owner of a seal dateable to the eighth or ninth century: DOSeals I 18.23 = Zacos and Veglery 2589. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Κύριε or Θεοτόκε βοήθει with .. - .. - δου - λω in the corners. Rev.: .... - ..... - και επ. - . Θεσσα - .ονικ'. The title reads: ... καὶ ἐπ[άρχῳ] Θεσσαλονίκ[ησ].
