Anonymus 32 was an unnamed eparch of Constantinople, ordered by Theophilos 5 to arrest and execute those responsible for the murder of the emperor Leo V (Leo 15): Leo Gramm. 214 (τὸν ὕπαρχον), Genesius III 1 (ἔπαρχος), Zon. The date was early in the reign of Theophilos 5, c. 829/830. He was the eparch of the Polis (i.e. of Constantinople), in whose jurisdiction such matters lay.
